I just finished my first year in college and I am planning to become a Dentist.
I have taken one Biology and Chemistry class. My GPA is a 3.1! I was going to ask if I should start studying for the DATS and if so what boom should I get because I am a beginner and have no learned a lot. I want to really become a dentist. What book should I study because I have just started.

No, don't start studying for your DAT. Take it the summer after your sophomore year. A lot of people take it the summer after their junior year, but I suggest taking it earlier because that way, you won't have to hold up your application because you're still waiting to get your test taken.

When the time comes for you to need to study, check the links in my signature. Everything you could possibly need is in them.

Also, if DS is really your goal, you've gotta raise that GPA. You aren't too far in, though, so it's doable! 🙂

Focus on getting your grades up first and start studying for the DAT after you finish your second year at the earliest.

Edit: Nice to see that you and I think alike, Glimmer.

Oh okay. Thank you. I was just wondering because I want to do dental.
