Freshman & Sophmore Schedule

I was just wondering.......what was your pre pharmacy schedule for the first two years? How did you get the prereqs done? Im not going to mimic your schedule i just want something to base it off of. I cant afford to fail so i just need all the help i can get. Thank you.

Most pre-pharms coming into college start with gen chem in the first semester that would allow one to take organic ASAP. Your advising center may include an example of a "track" that students take so that you complete the major prereqs before matriculation into pharmacy schools.

My strategy would have been (I started out pre-med and I got a degree so I never was on the two-year plan) to look at the prereqs of my top three schools and spread the courses out evenly. I would have also done my research about the difficulty of a course based on instructor and the rest of the course to find an even balance.

Here's the common plan my fellow students had. You can spread the humanities courses however you like since the difficulty of those courses make them more interchangeable.

Fall - 1st year
Gen Chem I w/Lab
Calculus

Spring - 1st year
Gen Chem II w/Lab
Gen Bio - 1st course

Fall - 2nd year
Organic chem I w/lab
Gen Bio - 2nd course

Spring - 2nd year
Organic chem II w/lab
Additional science prereqs.

Of course this differs per school and your math preparation entering college.

Okay I already have a degree so I only had to mainly focus on science, but the school I'm applying to also does grade replacement, so I took some classes over to replace the C's.
