Freshman year pre-reqs

Hi all,

I finished my freshman year. I wasn't to confident with my ability to excel in science courses, due to my high school experience. I realized I wanted to go into medicine due to my volunteer experience. I only took one pre-req each semester. Do you guys think I'm at a disadvantage? Will this impact my chances in a negative way?

If you don't feel confident in the science material (which will come back up on the MCAT) then yeah I would say you are at a disadvantage. I am not so sure that high school has much of anything to do with learning the material in college.
