for people with not so stellar freshmen year
how low was your freshmen gpa and by how much did it improve. also what did you do to improve it

i had a 2.47 the first year. my next 3.5 years were 3.97. overall, around 3.5.

i guess i just grew up and started attending more than the 1st day of class and test dates. it's really up to you. i knew that i could do it, and i was freaked out that i wouldn't get into med school. i had something to prove.

there's no trick. just freakin hard work. and a maybe a dash of ass-kissing.

I had 3.61 in my Fall smester and 2.5 in Spring. I do not know what happened.

second semester: 3.9ish
GPA when applying: 3.66 🙂

To overcome a bad freshman GPA, learn what you did wrong and study hard! And don't pledge a sorority! <img border="0" alt="[Laughy]" title="" src="graemlins/laughy.gif" /> 🙄

freshman year: 2.65
after that: 3.10-3.71
so i didn't immediately get my butt in gear, but evntually i did. even now that freshman year haunts me. ahhh, all the places i could've gone! but yes, i will be going somewhere in august!
