Hello, I just need to ask of you, not whether ill get accepted or not to a great medical school, but rather would medical schools see this upward trend and redeem me of my lower to higher grades?

Basically in

(First year) cgpa 3.6

Bio-Gen Chem I and other early science classes I got B-B+-A's

(2nd year - death in fam ) 3.15

Gen Chem II-Anatomy I got C+ and C+, as well as other A's in classes like PreCalc and Alg

(3rd year ) cgpa 3.4

Physics I - A+
o-Chem B+
Pathophysio B+
Biochem A+
O-Chem II A
Physics II - A+

I just want to ask you guys if medical schools (For example) See that my understanding for chemistry is good since I did well in the harder Chem classes, as opposed to Gen Chem II. And Im wondering if they think like that or if they see the two C+'s and throw my application in the garbage. Because
I am applying early decision this summer

Further info : 36o mcats, great EC's (ex. publication of article in NYU and Yale U medical universities professors and phD's took part in the articles)

im 21yo and applying to my state medical school in USA

So the question is, would my medical school see my upward trend as good, Or the two C+'s my doom?

First off, A+s only count as 4.0s in AMCAS. Secondly, I am sure that it will be positive that you did better in the harder classes but it also shows that (whether or not it is true) that you "blow off" what you think isn't important.

Just what I feel.

i guess if its a state university it shudnt be so bad. but u listed great ECs, and seems like ur greatest EC is that pub u stated?
however u said nyu and yale profs took part? what author are you? 5? 10?
thats pretty much nothing already.

well, of course if it was sci or nature...
