I dont know if anyone else is having the same problem as me. All of my recommedation forms have been completed on PharmCAS but yet the majority of the schools I have applied to are telling me that they have not received my recommendation letters. I spoke to PharmCAS and they told me that all of my recommendation forms have been mailed to the schools and that the schools also have it electronically..then on top of this one school even told me that I am missing my TOEFL scores. I am no where by far an international student. I was born and raised in the US. I think they are thinking I am an international student because of my name...I wonder if all the schools think that so I do not know....can someone help me on what I should do?

You need to contact the schools and let them know that PharmCAS shows they have sent all your LOR. The schools need to know there is some error in your application being sent, rather than an error on your part. Since most of the schools are saying they are missing your LORs, I'm suspicious that it really is PharmCAS's fault. See if PharmCAS will resend them. For the school that wants your TOEFL scores, let them know you aren't an international student. Unfortunately it sounds like you will be spending a lot of time on the phone with PharmCAS and the schools trying to get it sorted out.

how many letters of reccomendation did you submit to Pharmcas? Did you check the Pharmcas website to see that they have all reccomendations as received? Some schools require a letter recoomendation from a science instructor and/or pharmacist. Since you say the majority of schools are telling you that they haven't received the reccomendations, I am guessing that Pharmcas made a mistake. If I were you, I would call Pharmcas to straighten it out. They receive thousands of applications every year and I wouldn't doubt that they made a mistake on your application. Good luck.

As the other posters have stated, get it cleared up with Pharmcas and the schools that are telling you they do not have them. I had the same problem, mine was just with Pharmcas. Through Pharmcas, on my side when I looked at the status of my LORs, it said complete for each one, but Pharmcas was actually missing one of them, so I had to call to get clarification with them. Luckily my professor kept a hard-copy so I got another copy and it mailed overnighted so that the other schools would have access to it, and faxed it to the other school that brought it to my attention. Good luck.

Thank you guys for your help. I am calling PharmCAS first thing Monday morning!
