My exam is in 6 days, and I'm looking for any suggestions to squeeze a few extra points out of this thing. I'm super frustrated with my scores so far:

UWSA 1 - 244 (2 weeks in)
UWSA 2 - 238 (4 weeks in)
NBME 6 - 238 (5 weeks in - today)

Don't get me wrong, great scores that I'd be happy with on the actual thing, but definitely frustrated that my scores haven't budged at all. Strangely enough, the bars on each assessment have gotten narrower meaning I'm getting more consistent despite no real score improvement. Not sure what to make of that.

I had planned this week to be straight review (flash cards, goljan margins, uworld Qs), but was wondering if any of you had any last minute suggestions to score a few extra points and keep me from feeling like I should've taken the exam weeks ago and enjoyed my summer  I had also planned to take NBME 7 midweek (exam on Friday) - worth it at this point?

I'd be frustrated as well. Studying and not improving scores sucks. Although I am a believer that UWSA overestimates your score, so actually if I were you I would be happiest with the NBME score. I don't know if it would be worth it to take NBME 7, but I plan on doing it a few days before my exam.

All the extra studying should help you for the test, though. And you'll have plenty of future summers to enjoy (hopefully).

I believe at this point your score is 245+ b/c NBME 6 underestimates. To confirm this why don't you do two more NBMEs, 5 and 7. If the scores are not better significantly then that can be a sign of peaking and I would suggest go and give the exam b/c you don't want to forget and start to go down.

my 2cent.

Thanks guys! I think I'm gonna forgo NBME 7 and hope to be either right on target or pleasantly surprised.
