in my opinion the PAT can be the most fun part of the exam. look at it like it's a game. i took the kaplan class, it came with a CD (which i believe is also just with the book--so you don't have to spend all the money on the class--i'd look into that), and the CD was super helpful in visualizing the 3D images. once you get that down, just keep practicing, practice practice practice. on your good sections, make it your goal not to miss any on the practices (that way you can afford to miss them on the harder sections of the PAT)...I hope this helps...and just aim for having fun (if that's possible) and getting the least amount wrong, then the PAT isn't so bad, and your score will increase. Also, i got a totally different score on the actual DAT than I had been getting regularly on practices.
