Fulltime work Fulltime Summer School

So as I mentioned in one of my previous posts that I am finally on track and have figured out things.

I work fulltime for at a bank's IT and will be attending USF fulltiem starting this summer. I am taking:

Gen. Chemistry 1- Session A(10 weeks)
Gen. Chemistry 2 Session B(10 weeks)
Gen. Biology 1 w/lab- Session C(15 weeks)

It has been a while since I have attaneded school fulltime with fulltime work. Pretty sure I am not the only one that's doing this. Anyone else out there with full courseload and working fulltime?

for some perspective - i decided in january i was definitely going to pursue med school. in the interest of time, i am taking gen chem 1 at a CC this spring (couldn't get into a gen chem 1 section in the spring at uni) and gen chem 2 at my university this summer. Throughout the summer, I will be working part time in the ER in addition to the two volunteer activities i am involved in (fire and ems). I contemplated going back full time in the summer but ultimately decided that i will reserve that for the fall having knocked out my gen chem reqs by the end of the summer in addition to building up other aspects of my app. it seems you may be trying to rush it which, although admirable, is not something i am too interested in doing. best of luck to you and dont forget to focus on the other aspects of the application

Thanks, OBK and good luck to you as well. Well, thing is I have to get these courses done ASAP so I can take upper level courses starting Spring 2010 until Summer 2010;take MCAT and then apply to med schools.

I don't have any other options. I have to work fulltime. I'll cut down on work hours next Spring though so I can focus on upper level courses, volunteer work and MCAT. Hopefully, it'll workout. 🙂

What are the class times of the classes and when will you be in work? Honestly full time summer classes + full time work sounds like perhaps too much imo.

Mon-Fri-CHEM- 8am-9:15am
Tues & Thurs-BIO(w/lab)-10am-2:15

I work for network operations center so I can work anytime 24x7.
