As i look at the long road ahead of me and the array of science classes i will be taking, and the few breaks i will have , i wonder will it be all hell or might it be a bit fun. Did anyone enjoy the process to become a dentist or is it all just terrible experiences that people go through to become a dentist?

it really depends, i had a pretty good time, but thats because i had great classmates/friends and my school and i also didnt care for specializing (anything higher than a C was icing on the cake 🙂 some people were so home sick and they were miserable for 4 yrs. depends on what kind of person you are, but no, it doesnt have to be 4 yrs of hell. just pre-hell 🙂

and honestly i now look back at my dental school yrs (only 8 months removed) and remember it fondly... weird..

Study hard all week so you can have fun on the weekends, and enjoy the few weeks you have without tests!

Do you think attitude will determine how much fun you have in dental school? Are you aware that your perspective will also dictate how much you enjoy the process?

Well, I did not have near as much fun in D school as I did in college! But you can enjoy the experience.
