So, my friends and I made this video for the UC Davis Interview Workshop a couple weeks ago, but I wanted to share it with everyone. We wrote the lyrics, produced the beat, filmed and edited it all ourselves, so we're pretty proud and want to show it off 😀😎

I know many of you have already had your interviews, but some are still coming up, and I'm sure there are a few in here who will be applying to Davis or elsewhere next cycle.

Some of it is focused on our school, but it's just a humorous look at the application and interview process. I REALLY hope you guys like it!!!!!!

ENJOY and GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hilarious! I loved it!

This makes me want to apply next cycle instead of waiting another year like I'd planned.

HAHAHAHA! This is really awesome!

Absolutely hilarious. The names, songs, story, I love it!

Great work!!!

🤣

lawlipops. this was great...really helped calm me down before my interview.

the video's super awesome, but like... what's up with the related videos???
1.) veterinary assistant students viewing puppies
2.) animal rights conference 2007 - armaiti may
3.) armaiti may- animal rights conference 2009

out of curiosity, i watched #2... and holy crap that woman is intense!
"we want a vegan world, not just a vegan club. let's imagine for just a moment what a vegan world would be like. where factory farms and slaughter houses are a thing of the past, vivisection's ancient history, everyone treats animals with respect and kindness, no one eats them."

Thing is, she says this with this very angry look as she's trying to demonstrate how animal rights activists need to show happy emotions and not be so offensive...

i can kind of see why she wasn't well received by her classmates during her vet school years in davis...

I wonder if people like this have ever realized that the end of the meat industry would mean that we would either have to immediately slaughter every food animal out there....or let them free where they would become an environmental hazard/nuisance/etc. Or continue to support them until the last of them die, which would probably be a heck of a long time if we stopped eating them immediately.

YES! thanks BlacKAT. I totally didn't mean to bring up anything about veganism - plz DO NOT comment about that any more!!!

My comment was more about the militant intenseness of this person, and the irony behind her speech. she talks about how she felt outcasted by her CVM class (because she's on a higher moral ground) while at the same time she talks about how animal rights activists need to appear more mainstream by not being antagonizing...

regardless of her opinion on any subject, I kind of doubt that someone with such an intense personality would get along with any group of people that doesn't have the same world view as her.

I watched it too because I was curious to see what you were talking about. She is really, really tense. It is funny because she is talking about how AR activists need to be calmer and nicer to get their message across but she never once cracks a smile and has this very stern and intense look on her face the entire time.
