I know for me, not being a morning person and starting at 7:30, I immediately went home and slept from 4 pm till 8 am the next day. I was outttttt. And it was some of the most stress free sleep I've ever had.

I complained on the MCAT reddit thread, ate everything in the fridge, then went into deep hibernation. Also started dating a good friend, who was waiting for the test to be over before confessing her feelings

Depends who is asking.

Admissions: I took a brief much-needed break for wellness and personal care, after which I contacted labs with research projects I would potentially be interested in learning more about and also applied to full-time positions.

Anyone else: Ate like 3000+ calories in one sitting and then played video games/Netflix all day for over a week.

Both are true.

I called my parents and then shortly after I napped. Later at night I grabbed dinner with my friends. I was too exhausted to even think about that exam.

really nothing special tbh. I do remember feeling empty after taking it though since I just devoted 3 months of my time to it. Very similar feeling to submitting all my apps... just this void of "okay, now what?" and I do not do very well with that void.

Went to the chick-fil-a close to the testing center, ate in the parking lot while binging on social media (I had turned it off for the 4-5 months of studying).

Immediately after my first MCAT, I voided it. I then proceed to not study for the entire fall semester. I started back up over the winter and took it in the spring. My decision to void was premade because I knew I was unprepared.

Also "Fun Thread". Not fun for most haha.

So I had horrible anxiety symptoms the day of the MCAT. So I couldn't sleep/eat/etc. I had a horrible headache. Nauseous. I actually had my parents drive me to and from the test center bc I knew I would have anxiety- and that makes driving super hard for me.
So, my mom drove me home, I came home and went straight to bed, after eating like two spoonfuls of yogurt so I could have some food in my system. I then conked out for like three hours. I had a little bit of rice for dinner, watched TV for a bit, and then went back to bed.
Don't remember much of it. Think I slept for like 10 hours afterward.

I drove straight from the testing center to a Korean restaurant, then took a massive takeout order to a craft brewery where I proceeded to eat and drink myself into a happy stupor.

First time: nothing special. I didn't take that exam seriously enough lol so I wasnt terribly shocked I made a low score.

This time (512) : I went to my girlfriends place to celebrate by eating a cheat meal. Then I hit the gym after. And had dinner at a restaurant of my choice.

I had dreams that i got a 525 and dreams that I made a 500, 496, 501, etc. So I was anxious that entire month lol

Went bar-hopping with friends to celebrate after telling myself I'd probably be too tired to have more than one drink- this was untrue by a large margin.

My buddy and I took it together, so we went to Texas Roadhouse, because I’d never been! Ate some rolls and steak whilst complaining about different test questions. 🙂

Fun fact: I don’t remember the drive home, but I do remember just waking up on my futon at 3:30am that next morning like “ope”??

I went to volunteer at my hospital right after i got home

Vanilla ice cream. From the tub. Gluttony was not only allowed but encouraged!

Went home to take a nap and right before I got into bed remembered I had to be at work in an hour. Went to work, came home, purged my room of all study materials and then played runescape until my eyes were about to bleed

You should add me!

I listened to upbeat music and had a really great feeling about it! I took my dog for a walk downtown and we walked by a local bookstore that puts out a new quote from an author every day. The quote was the same Walt Whitman quote I used in my personal statement! It felt like a good sign and I think it helped me stay optimistic while I waited for my score.
I got a 517 (129/126/131/131) and I was so happy! I am not having a good cycle right now (****ty school list because I was expecting to score a lot lower so I had to change my list last minute) but I'm relieved that at least I will not have to re-take the MCAT!

Ate wayyyy too much junk food and then went to a Metallica concert and head banged the anxiety away :horns::horns:

The pumpkin spice frappuccino was released at Starbucks a few days before (I took the exam on 8/31/18) so I got a venti and texted everyone I knew that I was finally free! I then went home, opened up Hulu and Netflix and couldn't decide what I wanted to watch. I'd spent the last few months wishing everyday to just watch TV and do nothing, and once I had the chance, I didn't know what to do. Senioritis then hit pretty hard as the first month of fall semester began, and once I received my score, I started planning for this current cycle.

I felt unreal for like 2 days and binge-watched an entire season of Criminal Minds the following week. also threw up for the first time after drinking the weekend after. then never got drunk since then. lol. lesson learned.

After first MCAT: Voided (no sleep the night before, benadryl, fill in the rest), cried for the first time in years. Went to a great dinner that night though.

After second MCAT: Drove home from NH going over every question in my head (weird superpower: I can remember almost every test question and thus for MC tests pretty much know my grade immediately after checking), but felt great about it. I think I got home and vegged, nothing too special since I felt I hadn't accomplished anything yet.

After score release? Ya boy celebrated.

I went straight to the pool and tried to swim off my MCAT tension. However, the monotony of swimming laps for almost an hour just caused my mind to wander back to the test and overthink literally every. single. question.

Damn, I wish my coping mechanisms were as healthy as yours lmao..you go and swim laps meanwhile I either box (it’s hard to think about whatever was previously on your mind when someone is actively trying to knock your teeth out) or eat White Castle to the point of feeling physically ill and then wash it down with a bottle of pinot

Threw a party (my roommate had taken the DAT the same day)

Party was uneventful until some unknown people showed up after the keg had already run dry...they proceeded to find a girls purse unattended and steal her wallet and her car keys (and then her car), got into a fight with one of our guests, slashed the tires on my car and my cousins, and bust out a double pane window.

We lived in a secluded cul-de-sac that looked like it was a dead end from the main street, so it took the police quite a long time before they showed up. By the time they did there were 2 city police cars, a county sherriff and a state trooper who just happened to be near by...and in their infinite wisdom, they cited us with maintaining a disorderly house which was fun and a nice little bow on top of everything.

We were luckily able to get the disorderly house citations thrown out by our campus legal office attorneys...the DA was incredulous that we even got cited and told our lawyer she was dumbfounded by the police, as they absolutely should want people to call law enforcement when there has been a crime.

Was worth celebrating but I could have done without the rest of the hassle

I commuted to DC for my exam and left at 3:00 am that morning. after the exam, i walked to union station and ate a bowl from cava grill and a coconut chocolate bar from magnolia bakery. I got home, took a nap, and got ready to go a party at which i got super drunk for the first time that year.

Went out to dinner with my family and went to sleep
