[ngmc11]

How are you planning to fund your travels for interviews?

Yeah. His name is Uncle Sam.

Yeah. His name is Uncle Sam.

Not only will you have to pay it back... He'll be taking 30% of what you make for the rest of your life! 👍

I've got the bill. 🙄 Some of us have to do what we have to do. Everything works out in the end.

AmEx Blue.

the classmates that I applied the same places with and I will try to interview the same day or very close to so we can share hotel and rental cars.

Some programs will at least put you up in a hotel for the night. Most transportation costs you'll have to fund yourself...

[njac]

of course my closest interview to home is 8 hours... it ends up being cheaper to fly than drive.

Most residencies are notorious for putting all the costs on the applicant. Fellowships generally will pay for your hotel and flight/train. 😛 Ground transportation depends...

[njac]

I think the fellowship I applied for feeds you but doesn't do plane/hotel. I'll find out more when I do, obviously.
