Private large furnished room on 3rd floor, in a 4-bedroom apartment. Room is 11'x 13', tall ceilings, windows and closet. Building has security system and electronic locks. Small but cute backyard. Room has a queen bed with brand new memory foam mattress and bedding, desk with lamp and chair, dresser and nightstand. Window a/c, central heat.
15 min to Rush, UIC, Stroger. Location is great for transit--600 ft. from Kedzie Green Line stop, 200 ft. to Kedzie bus, 2 blocks to Kedzie Metra UP-W, 6.5 blocks to the Kedzie/Homan Blue Line stop. This block is fairly quiet as there is a school on the entire south side of the street.
Two other people live here. This room is next to the full bathroom which is only shared with one other person.
All utilities including at&t tv with high speed internet included. Laundry in unit included. Central heat, window a/c units. There are already two small dogs living here, so no pets. The property is smoke-free, including outdoors.
Street parking is Chicago Residential permit because of the school (but I have yet to see it enforced). Full access to all shared spaces including bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room, living/dining, yard. House is old, so nothing is perfect but I'm always improving something.
This is a short term rental and the length of agreement is flexible up to 6 months. Rent is $610/month. There is a $150 move-in fee, application and background check.
