hi Nikku,
well, your indian BDS degree is not accepted here in US if u wish to practice in US . U r considered a dental graduate from a non-accredited dental college. Firstly ,u have to take NBDE ( National Boards Dental Exam) and get admission to a dental school in US , do schooling for 2-3 yrs depending on the school. Then u receive a DDS or DMD degree, which is a dental graduate degree .This will give u license to practice in US. U can go in for specialisation after this.
But incase u just wish to enhance ur skills to practice in India ,many universities here have CDE programs which will be helpful..But these are not licensure programs for practising in US..
also , doing a DDS/DMD program in US involves a very very important financial aspect which u should consider before coming here, as the tuition is very expensive( i dont wish to discourage u ,but i just wanted to share the facts).
Well ,nikku , this is just in brief , u can browse this SDN site n u will get tons of info. also u can read the on ADA site ,Licensure for international dentist procedure at www.ada.org
ALL THE BEST
