Many specialties are taking a hit as far as income goes and seem to be headed for even more decline. Where is neuro headed now and in the near future?

Answer the question or don't. That jibberish is beyond immature. If anyone has a real response that would be sweet.

Depends on the specialty in neurology. If you do something like interventional neuro, you'll make quite a bit of money (a couple of residents were claiming mid to high 6 figure), but then say goodbye to life (meaning like an interventional cardiologist, free time becomes even more of a premium).

I think there's always plenty of money to be had (especially since they'll be plenty of neuro pts, and much less neuro docs)

If you want info on residency programs, applications, etc, you are in the right place. If you really want an intelligent discussion of health care economics, physician income, and reimbursement rates, I'd suggest posting on a website that offers more than the vague and generally ill-informed speculation of medical students and junior residents.
