Hey Guys

I just got into NYMC and I remember at my interview that the school gives out scholarships. Does anybody know if you need to apply through the school. Or does the school select you based on need and grades.

hi Adam,

congrats!! 🙂 I emailed Beverly Bello, Associate Director of Financial Aid, a couple weeks ago and she told me that student scholarships at NYMC are handled through the Admissions Office and are based on the combination of financial need and academics. there isn't a separate application for scholarships, at least as far as I know. all the incoming M1's are considered, but I'm not sure how many scholarships they give out...does any one else know?

No, actually my parents got the letter. I guess they thought my present address was my school or temp address and since school was ending that I would be at home.

Did you get an e-mail without a letter. If so, thats odd.
