Some people may already know this, so for the Aug MCATers and everyone else:

UW offers in-state interviews in the order you submit your AMCAS application, and NOT by the order you submit your secondary. So I had my AMCAS verified by 9/2, and my invite won't be until Dec. If you submitted after me, be prepared to wait at least till Jan. This seems to be different rom last year. I had friends who submitted at the same time I did a year ago, and they were accepted before thanksgiving. So I am guessing there are more applicants this year. Invites are also not given out until a month before the actual interview. So I hope this helps and relieves some stress.

I can't imagine there being any more applicants than there were last year. Looking at the numbers, it was about as high as it has ever been last year.

That explains a lot. I was processed on 8/19 by AMCAS and my interview is 11/12 if that helps anyone.

so, if i submitted and was verified by june, but took the august mcat, where does that put someone like me?
