Sorry I know this question has problem been asked a million times but I couldn't find the answer when I searched for it. I know for the biology section Cliffs AP is the one to get and for the PAT barrons is great. I took gchem so long ago and looking through the kaplan material doesn't help much since there is only 1 example problem for each section.

What is the best guide to get to basically relearn gchem? Cliffs AP? Princeton's AP? Any suggestions about O chem?

Thanks.

Kaplan to go over the basics. For practice (some-what hard problems) use DAT Destroyer. Look up any answers you get wrong and go back over them in your textbook or google.

Some also use ACS (American Chemical Society) General Chemistry. There is also examkrackers 1001 general chemistry questions, but I don't think many people use it.

O Chem, same use Kaplan then DAT Destroyer. ACS also has O chem practice problems.

After you review everything and know everything OK, start doing pratice exams like DAT Achiever, or Topscore.
For PAT Crack DAT PAT is recommended by most.

I got them both and have attempted to use them unsuccessfully. I'll end up doing the one example problem from kaplan and obviously know how to do that specific problem but when I try doing a few practice problems from the practice test I'll run into something that looks foreign since I don't know the complete ins and out of the material. I think my problem is I need to do a lot of problems from each individual subject so I'll how to approach every variant of that subject.

Obviously going through a text book would work but I was wondering if there was something that people use go over a lot of questions. I looked and the barrons and the cliffs notes at barnes and nobles and alo saw a princeton review but I'm not sure which is most recommended on this forum.

chemistry has always been my worst subject the best resources i would say would have to be ur textbook but obviously that can be very time consuming i used kaplan blue book and made notes of those .....kaplan subject tests are great and i used destroyer for gen chem and orgo and it was very helpful.......using all those i would say wud be sufficient trust me im no good at chem and organic became one of my best subjects after all of it.
