Hey all, I don't mean to pry into anyone's person lives, but what are the G.P.A's of you guys that are being accepted? I am serious about applying to COMS in Des Moines. I just want to make sure I have a shot.

Well, you are prying, but that's OK...

3.6 science, 3.4 overall

Sorry for asking, but thanks for the answer.

3.17 oa & 3.12 science with a very sharp upward trend after freshman and sopomore years through graduate school. I got 2 accpetances with these numbers so far.

Hawkeye,

I have been granted an interview there.
g.p.a. science 3.5, overall, 3.5

Don't forget they require you have health care exposure/experience to be considered so that must value this. Even if your stats are lower than these posts, each situation is different (major, school graduated from, etc.) so if that's you're first choice I'd say go for it!

Thank you all for responding to my question. Please no one take this in the wrong way, but did anyone apply to an allopathic medical school? I am just wondering because I have heard that the G.P.A for osteopathic schools is just a little lower than allopathic schools. Thank you for considering another one of my "personal" questions.

I applied to 2 allopathic schools and am in the middle of a letter mix up at one. The other is waiting for my second MCAT scores before they give me a supplemental app, even though my first set is high enough to get a supplemental; that's just their policy.

The first allo school (ECU) has an average GPA of 3.4 and the second one (UNC) has an average of around 3.5.

Hope this helps.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to pose a different personal question regarding MCAT scores. What are the scores of those of you that have been offered interviews/acceptances, if you don't mind?

Fired it up w/ a 35R.
