How are you guys formatting your volunteer positions and ECs?

I was planning on doing something like this:

Church of the Lost and Found Youth Leadership Team (1999-2002)
As part of the leadership team, I was responsible for all aspects of the youth program at the church. My duties included organizing, planning, and coordinating events, service planning, fund raising, community service, and developing strong relationships with youth. This experience helped develop my leadership and counseling skills.

but now I see that the limit on the whole section is 100 words or 700 characters. I guess they're not looking for a summary of what I did? Is it supposed to be something like:

Church of the Lost and Found Youth Leadership Team (1999-2002)
Future Physicians Student Mentor (2003-Present)

etc etc?

I was much shorter and to the point....I waited till the secondaries to write more.

like

ARC - instructor in CPR:FPR,community CPR, First Aid, BLAH BLAH
ER Tech - Worked in ED with blah blah skills and saw blah blah stuff
Volunteer EMT - Worked with somambulance squad that serves EMS for a community of BLAH blah.

see short and to the point....you can get a lot more in and look more rounded.
