Hi, I'm a new member from the Detroit area. I will be starting college this fall in the pre-med program and I was wondering what options there are to gain experience in the medical field. I'm currently volunteering in a local hospital's ER, and have considered taking an EMT course next summer. What suggestions does anybody have for getting into a hands-on type of experience?
