I am seeing different information in different resources. Some say that gap junctions allow the cytoplasms to mix others say that the connexins prevent the cytoplasms from mixing. Which is true? Also, out of the four cell junctions: anchoring, tight, gap and plasmodemat which is the strongest? And which is the weakest?
