I received an interview for a very lucrative clinical research position in Dallas, TX this week. I am a California resident and I'm wondering how this will influence my apps if I do take the job. Will California schools look at me as something like a lesser California resident because I'm working full time out of state? In the end my goal is to go to a medical school in California. My current stats are GPA 3.77 (4.0 at uni's for 3.5 years) and a 36 (12/11/13). My stats open up a lot of schools for me sure, I just don't want to mess up anything with my home state.

The interview is really just for formalities as my connection told me I essentially have the job if I want it.

Any thoughts?
