Hi all,
Long time lurker with a first post here.
I am in my junior year and am planning on taking a gap year. I have a 4.0 gpa and im taking the MCAT in april and practices have shown 517-521.
I am thinking about gap year options and and wondering if it would be crazy to take a gap year before my senior year and work as a CNA, then do my senior year and enter med school right after graduation. The way I see it, this would allow more clinical hours to be on my application. Would this be looked down upon by schools? If I do the gap year after my senior year I would also work as a CNA. And if this is not an issue, why do more people not do this?
