I'm a nontraditional student and have 3-5 years post-college work experience under my belt. Secondary questions about gap years tend to fall into two categories:
1) what have you done since graduating?
2) what have you done since graduating and why?
I can answer the first easily, but the second is more challenging. I've done the work I do because I find it interesting, it pays the bills, etc. The volunteering I've done because it's for causes I care about (and I want to get into medical school
). Are those reasons fine / am I just overthinking this?
