So I just graduated and am thinking about taking a gap year for personal reason (want to do some things) before applying to medical schools and starting down this 7+ year path. My question is will my mcat still be good if I apply June 2016 for matriculation in summer of 2017? I took my mcat in October of 2014?

That's just about 2 years old by the time I apply. Will all DO schools still accept the old mcat form next application cycle?

Thanks

do you mean june 2018 matriculation?

-- some schools may accept mcat longer than 3 years as well

They do it based on when you matriculate (start med school).
Up to 3 years between test and matriculation
Applying in 2016 is fine, but it would be the last year you could apply with that score (later would mean you start med school 2018)
