I have only had 1 DO interview this cycle and I was placed on a waitlist afterwards. The school said there is a 60% chance of being accepted afterwards.
But, I also have a job offer for beginning in August. I don't know if I should take the job (really good one) and assume that I won't get in. Or accept the offer and say no if I get accepted into the school in May. This seems very uncomfortable for me to do, but I would definitely go to that medical school if accepted.
If you were in my shoes, what would you do? Take the job or no? I am afraid I wont get this good opportunity again.
PS the school doesn't like to give information about the waitlist position.

Take the job, and rescind in case you can go to medical school. Things like that happen all the time. Your employer may be upset for a day or two, but they will understand and will find somebody else.
