Gap Years, Medical Jobs, Waiting for Interviews and Stuff

Hey everyone, so as a gap year applicant, I have a few questions if y'all don't mind answering:

What kinds of medical jobs did you have to prepare yourself for medical school?

What was the latest interview invite you've gotten in your cycle?

How long until you got your first interview?

If I don't get into any medical school this cycle, what are some things I can do to better my chances next cycle?

What did you do while waiting for interviews?

My bad advice in under 1 minute
1. If you're shooting for T20, try to get a job as a CRC, if not, EMT or scrub tech or tech or scribe is fine
2. So far, I got an invite from WashU on 12/21, my buddy got a UCF invite last week
3. Submitted Pitt 2ndary 7/11 and got invite 7/24
4. Highly dependent on deficiencies of your app/interviewing skills
5. School, wife, sports, workout, research, family, EC's
