There's some dude or dudette going around different USMLE forums on the web posting, "I just took the USMLE and got 40-50 questions from Q Notes." Of course, whoever this was posted under different names. Only thing is, they should have been a little more intelligent about the names they posted under.

The fact that these 4 posts showed up in 4 different forums within a day of each other points to the likelihood that this is horse s--t. Other explanations are possible but seem unlikely.

Unfortunately, the first two links that I posted are now down. Apparently, they were removed from the server at those sites. Not sure if they were removed by the poster or by the admin.
Not to fear, though. There is another post at usmle forum by Zaied with the same BS (the 5th post within a day of the previous 4, I guess I missed this one). I thought I would quote it this time in case it gets removed so you guys can see how ridiculous this is. Whoever's doing it hasn't duplicated their posts under different names, recently. Well, I guess that's at least some sign of intelligence.

"Jsut took step 1 and let me tell you. YOU got to get the Q-NOTES they were life saving. I got at least 25 q from those cases and the photos i got at least 10 from that PHOTO CD. Most of my exam was path and micro. Few psch and ethics alot of molecular. Pharmacology was easy. I got to go now hope you all do well in your exams. get q-notes from crushtheusmle.com there is also a companion step 1 review CD it has all the quetion you need to prep."
