Are there opportunities (other than doing a pain fellowship) where one can work without taking call after gas rez? If so, how common is this/how difficult is it to set up such a job?

Good luck to all those applying,
Circle.

Sure - outpatient surgery centers - no nights, no weekends, no holiday, no call.

sure there are plenty of jobs in the outpatient setting

but hard to find a hospital job without call.. If you do you wont have equal footing in the hospital than the other guys.. youll be working for the man

Sure - any hospital in the US will hire you for this. $20/hr - 7-3 M-F. Two weeks paid vacation and 2% 401K match.
