what's the relationship between branching and volatility?

The way I would think about it is that branching decreases the boiling point of a substance. Volatility and boiling point are related in that the increased volatility of a substance, the lower the boiling point. Therefore, the greater the branching, the lower the boiling point, and therefore the higher the volatility
