what is your favorite gas text for a beginner? there is no "blueprints" text, correct?
 
I like clinical anesthesiology by Morgan. Others seem to like Basics of Anesthesia, which is also very good.
 
For beginners, I say big daddy Miller. Volume I on a saturday and volume II on sunday. ahhh, now that's a relaxing little weekend.

Yes, I agree. Attendings really like it when you quote pages our of big miller.

"No I did not perform an Allen test before doing this A-line, as on page 372 of Miller it states that this test is neither sensitive nor specific for collateral ciculation."

Page number may be incorrect.:laugh: My attending had me repeat this to a surgeon one day, it almost floored him.👍
