I think the number of people who have completed both radonc and anesthesia residencies and could answer that question is probably astronomically low. Also, the people here most likely switched INTO anesthesia if anything, so what kind of feedback are you looking for?

OR... oral surgery through the dentist route. Those guys are making a killing, are not on call and are not affected nearly as much by medicare/medicaid/Obamacaid. Gotta a friend who is doing very well "$$$" with every other friday off. No call, no weekends. Dental extractions, which is a 2 minute procedure in the office at $500 a pop going from room to room. You get a practice going where you are pulling 30 of those a day and... well you do the math. Those guys are happy dudes. 🙂

seriously. I know a guy who is making as much as the local spine surgeon/specialist. I think it has to do with the location, but none the less ... he's making a ton of money.
