acute gastroenteritis is a clinical syndrome of diarrhea and/or vomiting of acute onset.
AGE can be caused by infectious agents or toxin.
but how to differentiate between acute and chronic?
is it time duration or severity of vomiting and diarrhea?

I was goofing around online the other day, and I found this amazing website. It's called Google. Its link is www.google.com.

hasn't the allopathic forum been enough to answer all your "i don't know wtf is happening in med school" questions? 🙄

It would seem that chronic gastroenteritis is defined as at least 10 days duration. I work at a GI office which is why your post caught my eye...though I'm not sure why you didn't just look it up yourself...?
