Gastroenterology

Dear all!

I?m very interested in gastroenterology because I think it?s a fascinating field but I have a question, I love nutrition and I would like to know which specialty in US is more related with nutrition, endocrinology or gastroenterology because in Spain is endocrinology.
I?m gathering information to writte a book about Mediterranean diet and I would like to know which specialty would be better.
