Gateway to Dentistry HELP!!!!!

Hi all fellow SDN'ers ,
So i got in this gateway to dentistry program... i called the umdnj housing jawn and they said that they dont have a room..

q) how have past gateway participants handled the housing problem.. hotel, nearby places ??? plz help

I live 1 hr 30 min drive from newark and it would not be practical to drive everyday and insure that i arrive on time everyday

q2) also, what type of clothes do u guys wear?.... for the 1st day is it like business casuall irght? (prbably sutpdi question) but dres pants and night dress shirt , right?

I stayed at the dorm but most people commuted. As for first day attire, I vaguely remember wearing jeans, sneakers and a nice-ish sweater. If you feel more comfortable in business casual, go for it. They give you scrubs the first day, so either way, bring sneakers to change into.

craigslist it. students who go to the school will be on winter break so maybe somebody might be interested in letting you stay during that time. they can make $$ too

hi, i was wondering the same thing!! I am also going to the get away but I am looking for a place to stay, if anybody know anything please letme know 🙂
