consider the below rxn:
2A + B -----> 3C deltaG=-1500KJ

which statement is false?
a) the rxn will move rapidly from left to right
b) the rxn is spontaneous as written
c) the rxn is thermodynamically favorable
d) the equilibrium mixture will consist almost exclusively of C
e) two of the above

pls explain why. Thanks guys.
 
all are true but A

when you have such big DeltaG negative, you usually have alot of products, we also can see its sponta and is thermo favorable
 
lol. I'm such an idiot. Even after reading the question, the response, and typing it on this forum, for some reason I overlooked that it was asking for the false statement.

Yah the answer is A. - delta G = spont. but it has nothing to do with speed to spontaneity.
