2 CO2 What is the equilibrium constant, K, at 400K if 3.00 moles of CO2(g) introduced into a 2 liter container are 20.0% dissociated at equilibrium? 2 CO2(g) « 2CO(g) + O2(g).

according to acheiver.. i understand the steps. until they show.. that for the reactant.2C02, they have .80*3mol=.... where is the .80 coming from?? and also why do we divide the # of moles by 2 in everycase..
