So I am a little concerned that my way of doing a problem might not match up with how the DAT has it setup in their answer choices. An example:
What is the density of HCl gas at 2 atm and 45 C?
My way:
Use P(MW) = DRT
--> (36.5)(2)/(0.0821*318)
=2.77
Another way that I am afraid the DAT might set it up (as Kaplan did):
-->V2 = (22.4L/mol)(1atm/2atm)(318K/273K) = 13L/mol
36/13 = 2.77
Should I learn how to do it both ways? Wondering if people had trouble answering questions on the real DAT because their way of doing it is different....or does the DAT only setup answer choices when there is only one way to do it?
