Gen Chem problems on the DAT

Ive started studying for the DAT and am currently working through the GC section of my kaplan book. I was wondering though if anyone had any suggestions on how to work on getting better at solving the problems without using a calculator. Ive tried using rounding to make the numbers easier to deal with and to speed things up, but im afraid by doing that my calculations will be off when i take the DAT. Thanks in advance

if calculation is complicated, most time the answer choices will give out formula instead of final result, so relax.

Ohoh, by the way, if you just start your study, you will have calculator in DAT after March.

Calculator is only on the math section NOT general chemistry starting in March I think.
