So wouldn't the answer be just B and C bc mg2+ doesn't equal argon??
 
It's E. All 3 of those options have the same electron configuration as Argon.
 
Um that is completely wrong lol Mg2+ doesn't equal Ar's elec. configuration, it equals Ne's....................:uhno:
