hello everyone.
Hope everybody is enjoying the application process as much as I am. 😳
I am goind to take the DAT at the end of July, and I've got some questions on Gen Chem.
I was looking at the Gen chem review on Kaplans, but it seems to me to be little too general? Do you think we will be required to know the details that Kap left out? And are there any good study aid in terms of actual problems?
i tried the problems from my gen chem text book, but some of them (actually most of them) require specific details, which i don't think is the scope of the actual DAT.

Any input will be greatly appreciated. 🙂

I suck at chemistry but after doing the kaplan stuff i got a 22 on my gchem section. Depending how much time you have to study i think kaplan is a good source to start from.

im scheduled to take the DAT on july 8 and for gen chem, o chem and bio ive been using kaplan and schaum's. there are a variety of questions in schaums college chemistry in each chapter and they are worked out, though some require precise decimals and figures that probably wont be tested but it never hurts to know how to do it! What ive been doing is ive been going through a section in kaplan and then afterward go to schaums corresponding section and read, take notes, and do questions. im almost through the material the first time around and cant wait to take my topscore tests.
