General ? about reference material during the test

Does anyone know if there is a periodic table available during the general and organic chem sections?

Also, are there any formulas available for referencing during the test? Either Math or Chem formulas?

So we have to use the windows calculator, huh? That sucks.

I haven't taken the test yet, but I believe there is a periodic table during gen chem section. I have no idea about the calculator but I guess it's sth like windows calculator

A periodic table will be provided for the chemistry section and a basic windows calculator will be provided for the math section... but just a heads up: typing in 2x2x2 in one continuous effort (without hitting the equals sign till the end) will give you an answer of "4". Just remember that multiplying 2x2x2 with this windows calculator will have to be typed "2x2" and then "equal sign", and then "x2" and then "equal sign" again. The reason you would get "4" as your answer when typing "2x2x2" in one continuous effort is that the calculator only remembers the last two terms ("2x2") and it will really mess up your answer! If you have CDM you can explore and see exactly what I mean.

So I was told by a friend who took the DAT last summer that he got a calculator for the GC portion...is this not the case?

As you see on the website it is written that you will receive a periodic table for chem and you will receive a basic calc for QR. If there was a calc provided for Gchem I'm pretty sure it'd be written. You may want to doublecheck with your friend

And CDM = crack dat math
