General Chemistry Score :(

I've been taking datquvault chemistry exams and my highest score is a 18 and lowest is a 16 what should I do and my exam is in 2.5 weeks :'( I'm going crazy!!!!!

Keep studying Chad. Know Chad. Do his quizzes. If you can honestly understand what Chad does, I think you will be fine.

2.5 weeks is plenty of time to work gen chem out and then some... rewatch chad if you have to... do destroyer... hell, talk to a tutor if you have to... You can definitely do it.

Thanks guys I will try. It funny how when I do Chads quizzes I only miss one or two questions but when I do qvault I get 16 🙁 this is so discouraging! It makes me so angry that I wanna give up. B/c I tell myself if you cant even score a 20 on these practice exams what makes you think you can get a 20 or even a 19 on the real thing 🙁

lol many of us scored lower than 20 on the practice tests and did well on the test. Be confident if you worked hard.

Try not to care too much about the score you get on your practice tests. Imo, exposing yourself to as many types of practice questions is the most important. Just know how to solve all kinds of problems you see in practice tests....etc. i personally scored around 18s in gc when i did qvault and i ended up scoring a 21 on the real one!

Keep reviewing those questions until you feel comfortable.

Not to completely hijack the thread, but how would you say the split was between conceptual questions and calculation questions (needing to know the formula and how to use it)...

And OP, from what i've gathered on the forums, qvault GC isnt the best, in terms of test representation.

When i took the test on july 16th, i got less than 5 calculations. It was mostly conceptual questions. Make sure you understand all of Chads videos.....then you should be fine 🙂

Thanks everyone for all the great advice! That is true I heard that there are more conceptual questions on the read one.

it is important to do lots and lots of practice probs and exams to get the feel for it but as long as you get the basics down you should be good.
