General Ed Classes online?

Does anyone know if online courses are frowned upon? I am taking a total of 5 classes online: General Ed-non science.

My second question, Anyone attending UCLA, or UC Riverside?

I am checking both schools out😛 just would like some opinions.

I think on-line education just gets a pretty bad rap in general. For example, the University of Phoenix really seems like a diploma mill because it is the largest degree-granting institution that's on-line. I think the lack of a professor, of formal instruction, and that whole thing we call "midterms" and "finals" kind of detracts from on-line education. Then again, that's just my opinion. If I were you, I'd just play it safe and take the courses at a community college (at the very minimum) or at a 4-year university if you can.
