General ERAS advice

Hi! I remember finding the posts on here very helpful when applying for med school, and now that I'm staring down residency apps (or maybe they're staring me down) I made a new account. In particular, I remember the advice about my resume and personal statement were much better than I got anywhere else.

The premed forum had some useful pinned threads, and I can't find an equivalent here. I'm looking for SDN's advice on ERAS, especially the personal statement/experiences part. Is there general advice SDN has for this, or a pre-existing thread someone could link me to?

The biggest adjustment I had to make was realizing I was applying for a job, not school. They are looking for colleagues. Trainable ones, but colleagues.

The general writing advice I think would still be appropriate as long as you understand your audience (see @ontiquicuo's comments).
