I am a Junior in HS and recently a family friend asked me what I wanted to study in college. I told him I was undecided but was looking at psychology. He then went on for half an hour talking about what he studied (General Medicine) and how it covers everything, including psycology. He also told me it paid alot and wasn't too hard, just time consuming(he told me he makes $100 an hour). I became interested and was wondering if anyone could give me more information, how long does it take to study, what jobs available after college, how much money is made, how long are work hours, etc.

Huh? General medicine is not a major in undergrad, if that is what you are asking. You can become an Internal Medicine Physician/General Internal Medicine Physician. As I said, there is no such thing as "studying" General Medicine, not in America that I am aware of.

Edit: Ok I just googled this, and I have to ask: are you in America? I'm asking because I googled General Medicine (because I haven't heard of "studying" that in America), and it says that Internal Medicine is General Medicine in Commonwealth nations. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internal_medicine
