Do you guys know the general requirement for PA school and is it similar between different programs throughout the US? I read some programs require a certain number of hours experienced in health care setting such as emergency paramedics, CN.

Also, what are the average academic statistics for admission into a decent PA program. Thanks for all your help.

varies by program. see www.aapa.org for links to all programs:
http://www.aapa.org/pgmlist.php3
general prereqs include, chem, a+p, micro, psych, etc similar to premed. most quality programs want at least a few yrs experience in a paid medical position. gpa around 3.5 in sciences would get you into most pa programs.
there are over 140 programs now and every program is different so research specifically those in areas you are interested to make sure you cover all the bases for prereqs and experience.

The 15 or 25 schools on my list (so far) are similar to the med school prereqs, except that I can skip:

Orgo part II (although it's recommended for some)
Calculus (again, it wouldn't hurt to have it)
Physics (same again; notice a pattern?)

...and I have to have some things pre-meds don't:

Human Anatomy & Physiology (animal phys is nice but won't cut it)
Statistics
Microbiology
Biochemistry (this is about 50/50 depending on the PA program)
Genetics

See the links from e-med. It does vary by program, unlike the pre-med situation, where the only real question mark is the Calculus. I see this as both a positive and a negative. It takes a little more work on one's own to avoid taking "unnecessary" courses, but on the other hand there is no PA-school cookie-cutter pre-req list.
