Has anyone matched into an Osteopathic General Surgery program from a TRI? I would greatly appreciate hearing your experience.

Yes. TRI matched general surgery this year. Actually matched outside of the official match because a program offered me a spot midway through the year during my interview.
Unsure if your looking for more specific advice or just seeing if it's possible. I also know of another friend TRI who matched gen Surg through the actual match process.

I was wondering the same thing (presuming so since the osteopathic board has different rules).
I will be starting as a pgy1 "plus" they are calling it ... I will apply to the AOA for credit for my current osteopathic TRI year , but I will join the incoming intern class . They anticipate the AOA giving me 9 months credit so I will graduate from this program in 4years and 3 months (as surgery is 5) I haven't worked out all the details quite yet so only basic info right now . Essentially the time will come off the end is what I understand to happen.
